The US Economic Development Administration awarded the Caveland Environmental Authority a grant worth $2,836,000 to help fund a project in Hart County.

The grant was awarded on Sept. 26. The EDA describes the grant as follows:

"This EDA investment funds the renovation and expansion of a wastewater treatment plant in Hart County, Kentucky, to support manufacturing companies in the area. The project will help increase the capacity of the Horse Cave Regional Water Reclamation Facility that serves Hart County Industrial Park, which is in a designated Opportunity Zone. Once completed, the project will promote manufacturing and emerging industry clusters, and drive regional economic growth."
