James Comer, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman for Kentucky’s 1st District, has made several public statements regarding President Joe Biden and his administration. Through social media posts, Comer has expressed concerns about the President’s health and actions taken by his inner circle.

On July 7, 2025, Rep. James Comer announced that if “Biden’s inner circle fails to comply with our subpoenas,” Republicans would “initiate contempt of Congress.” He stated that Republicans are united in their efforts to “expose the truth about the cover-up of President Joe Biden’s mental decline & potentially unauthorized executive actions” here.

The following day, on July 8, 2025, Comer issued a reminder regarding an incident where “The Biden White House previously blocked President Biden’s doctor from testifying before @GOPoversight.” He mentioned having subpoenaed Dr. Kevin O’Connor and noted that Dr. O’Connor would be appearing the next day because “Americans deserve answers” here.

On July 9, 2025, Comer reiterated his stance by stating that “Joe Biden’s top enablers can no longer hide behind the power of the presidency.” He asserted that Americans are dissatisfied with what he described as lies about Biden’s health condition. Comer’s post emphasized that “@GOPoversight is bringing the truth to light” and declared they will not tolerate obstruction in their inquiry here.

James Comer has been representing Kentucky’s 1st District since replacing Ed Whitfield in 2016 after serving in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 2001 to 2012. Born in Carthage, Tennessee in 1972 and now residing in Tompkinsville, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University obtained in 1993.
