James Comer announces Fox News appearances and criticizes Biden administration

Rep. James Comer, a U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky’s 1st district since 2016, recently posted several statements on his official Twitter account regarding media appearances and ongoing political investigations.

On July 20, 2025, Comer announced his participation in a televised panel discussion, stating: ” Joining a great panel on the @BigWeekendShow tonight live on @FoxNews at 7pmET. Don’t miss it! Be sure to tune in. https://t.co/W7M3HYrj5o”

The following day, July 21, Comer criticized the Biden administration and its supporters with the post: “The Biden White House, Democrats, and their allies in the legacy media LIED. They insisted Joe Biden was “sharp” and on top of his game.

Later that same day, Comer referenced an interview with Lara Trump focused on GOP oversight efforts: “Sat down with @LaraLeaTrump today to discuss @GOPoversight’s investigation into the cover-up of President Biden’s cognitive decline and unauthorized executive actions.

James Comer has represented Kentucky’s 1st District since replacing Ed Whitfield in Congress in 2016 and previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 2001 to 2012. Born in Carthage, Tennessee in 1972, he is currently a resident of Tompkinsville and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University earned in 1993.
